You matter to God. You matter to us.

In a world that often moves fast and forgets faces, it’s easy to feel overlooked, unseen, or even unimportant. But here at St. James Asokoro, we want you to know this truth deep in your heart:

You matter to God. And you matter to us.

You Matter to God

Before you were formed in your mother’s womb, God knew you (Jeremiah 1:5). He knit you together with purpose, intention, and love. You are not here by accident. Every strand of your story—your joys, your struggles, your questions, and even your pain—is seen and cherished by a God who calls you His own.

The cross is proof of how much you matter to Him. Jesus didn’t die for a crowd—He died for you. Your name, your heart, your soul. God’s love is personal. It’s powerful. It’s unwavering.

He sees the tears you cry in private and hears the silent prayers you whisper when no one else understands. And in all of it, His response is clear:
You are loved. You are seen. You are valuable.

You Matter to Us

At St. James Asokoro, we are not just a church—we are a family. And families walk together. Whether you’re full of faith or full of questions, whether life is joyful or difficult, there is a place for you here.

We believe church should be a safe space to grow, to heal, to serve, and to belong. Our arms are open, not just because it’s the kind thing to do, but because you’re part of the body of Christ—and every part matters (1 Corinthians 12:12–27).

No one here is invisible. No one here is alone. We see you. We welcome you. We value the gifts and story you bring. You are not just welcome here—this is your home too.

Let’s Walk Together

Whether you’ve been part of our church family for years, or you’re walking through our doors for the first time, our message to you is the same:

You are not forgotten. You are not alone. You are deeply loved—by God, and by us.

So come as you are. Ask your questions. Share your heart. Worship, grow, and serve with us. Let’s journey together as we follow the One who calls each of us by name.

Because you matter—to God, and to us.
